ADEDY (the Civil Servants’ Confederation) has declared a nationwide work stoppage scheduled for Thursday, June 6, 2025, in response to the model trial occurring at the Council of State (StE) regarding the reinstatement of the 13th and 14th monthly salaries for public sector workers.
The work stoppage will take place from the start of the workday until 11:00 a.m., and public sector employees in the Athens metropolitan area are encouraged to join a protest gathering outside the Council of State at 9:30 a.m. (located at the corner of Aiolou and Sofokleous streets).
Exempt Groups:
- Secondary education teachers
- Administrative staff at the Ministry of Education involved in the Panhellenic university entrance exams
- All judicial employees
These groups are exempt to ensure the smooth execution of vital national exams and judicial activities.
