The Schools of the Greek Community of Melbourne are dedicated to enhancing children’s education and promoting Greek language learning, even during school holidays, by providing exciting and enriching opportunities outside the classroom.
On the 7th, 8th, and 10th of July, they have arranged an interactive and creative holiday program tailored for children aged 4 to 10.
Named “STEM in Their Element – Discovering Water, Light, and Air through Play and Exploration,” the program encourages participants to become young scientists and explorers, discovering nature’s marvels through engaging experiments and creative activities, all within an environment that promotes the use of the Greek language.
The sessions will take place on:
- Monday, 7 July at Huntingdale
- Tuesday, 8 July at Footscray
- Thursday, 10 July at Balwyn
Families have the option to register for a full-day session (9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.) or a half-day session (12:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.).

This initiative aims not only to strengthen children’s ties with the Greek language but also to inspire curiosity, creativity, and a lifelong passion for learning.
