The highest recorded temperature among all active weather stations in the National Observatory of Athens/Meteo.gr network was at the Helioloustos Kilkis station, reaching 37.7°C. This was closely followed by readings from Karditsa and Paleos Skylitsiou in Imathia, both at 37.5°C.
The following map illustrates the highest temperatures across the country as reported by the National Observatory’s network of automatic meteorological stations. Notably, temperatures surpassed 30°C at 412 of the 533 active stations (approximately 77%), and exceeded 25°C at 521 stations (about 98%). The average maximum temperature recorded was 32.0°C, which is 2.1°C higher than the previous day’s average of 29.9°C.

The weather is expected to be predominantly clear nationwide, with some occasional clouds developing in the mountainous regions of Macedonia during the afternoon. Winds will be blowing from the north at speeds of 3 to 5, reaching up to 6 Beaufort in the Aegean Sea. Temperatures are predicted to rise, potentially hitting between 38 and 39 degrees Celsius in the mainland, 35 degrees Celsius on the Ionian Islands and southern Crete, and 31 to 32 degrees Celsius across the remaining island areas.
