According to OPEN’s meteorologist, today will start off sunny, but by the afternoon, there may be showers and possible thunderstorms, particularly in the northern mainland. The Aegean Sea will experience very strong northerly winds, with temperatures ranging from 34℃ to 37℃.
Thodoros Kolydas noted in a post that “strong north winds of 6-7 Beaufort in the Aegean will persist until Sunday, with temperatures remaining seasonal.”

Generally clear weather is expected, with some local showers and thunderstorms in the midday and afternoon hours over the continental highlands.
Temperatures will range from 12 to 29 degrees Celsius in Western Macedonia, 15 to 33-34 degrees in the rest of Macedonia and Thrace, 15 to 34 degrees in Thessaly, 14 to 33 in Epirus, and 14 to 33-35 degrees in the rest of the mainland. In the Ionian Islands, temperatures will be between 18 to 32-34 degrees, while the Aegean Islands and Crete will see temperatures ranging from 17 to 33-35 degrees.
Winds in the Aegean will be predominantly from the north, reaching intensities of 5-6 Beaufort, possibly up to 7 Beaufort. In the Ionian Sea, winds will generally be northwest, with speeds of up to 3-4 Beaufort and reaching 5 Beaufort in the north.
In Attica, clear conditions are anticipated, with northerly winds blowing at speeds of 4-5 Beaufort, locally up to 6 Beaufort in the eastern part of the prefecture. Temperatures will range from 23 to 33-34 degrees Celsius.
Thessaloniki will also experience clear weather, with winds blowing from various directions at speeds of 2-3 Beaufort. The temperature will be between 24 to 30-31 degrees Celsius.
