Warning of High Fire Risk
Meteorologist Giorgos Tsatrafyllias from Alpha TV cautions about an extremely high risk of fires. He states that fire-weather conditions will worsen in the coming days, as strong north winds are expected to follow the heatwave (Wednesday–Friday).
Tsatrafyllias previously identified seven regions that will be most impacted by the heatwave, where temperatures are anticipated to rise dangerously:

Temperatures are expected to start rising gradually from today (June 24, 2025), reaching up to 37°C. Giannis Kallianos forecasts that it will become even hotter on Wednesday.
