The data was shared by Interior Minister Theodoros Livanios, indicating that 15,000 civil servants were rated as “excellent,” along with 8,000 supervisors receiving the same distinction.
A presentation event is currently taking place at Maximos Mansion (the Prime Minister’s Office) to unveil the results of public service evaluations conducted by citizens.
According to Minister Livanios, 65,000 citizens took part in the evaluation process, which concluded on May 31.
Out of the municipalities assessed, 184 had a sufficient sample size, with the Municipality of Athens at the forefront, followed by Thessaloniki and Heraklion.
Key findings from the analysis include:
- Major public agencies across various sectors received consistent evaluations.
- Public satisfaction with urban transportation in Athens varies based on the service quality in different areas.
- Services offered through Gov.gr received high ratings.
- Challenges remain regarding the road network in Greece’s island regions.
- The primary municipal issues identified were: road conditions, sidewalks, and parking facilities.
- Urban planning services received notably low scores.
- Cleanliness and street lighting were rated somewhat positively.
- There is a pressing need for increased attention to essential municipal infrastructure.
