US President Donald Trump stated yesterday, Sunday, that the ongoing discussions between the US and Iran regarding the Islamic Republic’s nuclear program are “very good.”
“We’ve had very productive talks with Iran,” Mr. Trump told reporters in New Jersey prior to boarding the presidential jet back to Washington. “I’m not sure if we’ll have good or bad news to announce in the next few days, but I have a sense it will be positive. We’ve made significant progress, real progress,” he added.
The fifth round of Oman-mediated indirect negotiations took place in Rome on Friday.
