Russia has delivered an additional 1,245 bodies of Ukrainian civilians and soldiers to Ukraine, finalizing the agreement reached during negotiations in Istanbul.
This brings the total number of bodies repatriated to Ukraine to 6,057. The investigative authorities, alongside experts from the Ministry of Interior, will carry out necessary examinations to identify the returned remains.
The Ukrainian Exchange Coordination Center has expressed appreciation for the support given by the International Committee of the Red Cross.
Additionally, Russia has received 78 bodies of its soldiers who fell in combat.
