In March, the total number of tourist accommodation arrivals reached 1,208,535, while overnight stays climbed to 2,728,326. This represents an increase of 3.5% in arrivals and 3.3% in overnight stays compared to the same month in 2024.
Specifically, preliminary data obtained from ELSTAT indicates that in March 2025, there was a 4.7% rise in arrivals and a 3.7% rise in overnight stays among foreign visitors compared to March 2024.
Domestic travelers also saw an increase, with arrivals up by 2.7% and overnight stays increasing by 2.9%.
Greek residents played a significant role in this growth, contributing to 57.9% of total arrivals and 54.9% of overnight stays.
The average duration of stay for March 2025 was 2.3 days.
