Greece is bracing for its first heatwave of the summer, with meteorologists predicting temperatures soaring above 42°C in the upcoming days. This intense heat is expected to last for three to four days, peaking between Thursday and Friday.
This heatwave is characterized as moderate and relatively short-lived; Friday will be the hottest day, according to Kallianos.

Starting tomorrow, Wednesday, June 25, through Friday, June 27, temperatures are set to rise significantly, reaching 7-8°C above the seasonal norm.
The peak of the heat will occur on Friday.
On Friday, June 27, high temperatures will impact most parts of the country. The air will remain dust-free due to northerly winds.
