Friends and family are saying their final farewells to Christos Stavrianidis, who tragically passed away last Monday night after falling into a ravine while hiking with a friend in the Fractus forest in Drama.
The funeral service for the 61-year-old took place at the Holy Metropolitan Church of Drama, where a large crowd gathered early in the afternoon to pay their respects.
His family, including his wife and three children, are devastated and struggling to comprehend the sudden loss.
“Our Christos was one of a kind, always with a smile. He was truly a wonderful person. Everyone in Drama knew him, and for the past two days, the whole community has been heartbroken. He was like an eagle,” a relative shared.
Christos Stavrianidis’s body arrived at the church at 5:30 PM, with the funeral service scheduled for 6:00 PM.
