The Independent Authority for Public Revenue (AADE) is set to onboard 188 new employees from a pool of 385 successful candidates in the recent recruitment drive, with 237 assigned to tax services and 148 to customs services.
The swearing-in ceremony took place today, attended by the Governor of the AADE, Giorgos Pitsilis, who congratulated the new appointees and encouraged them to play an active role in the Authority’s institutional and digital transformation.
“This marks the beginning of bolstering our services with skilled personnel. You are tasked with taking on a vital role in shaping the future of the Hellenic Public Revenue Service, harnessing the insights and fresh perspectives you bring,” Pitsilis stated, while also highlighting ongoing investments in the infrastructure and work environment of the services.
During the ceremony, leaders from the General and Independent Directorates discussed the operations of their departments, along with key aspects regarding the structure of the Hellenic Tax Administration, the special pay scale, evaluation procedures, available training, and development opportunities within the Agency.
The swearing-in process will continue in the upcoming days for the remaining 197 new employees. Following this, a nine-month introductory training program will commence at the Tax and Customs Academy of the AADE.
