The deceased, an Albanian national, was reportedly known to law enforcement for prior offenses. The person he identified as his shooter is also of Albanian descent and has a history of drug-related crimes. He is currently being searched for. Authorities suspect the motive behind the shooting was personal vendetta.
Initial reports indicate the 41-year-old victim had a noticeable gunshot wound to the cheek. Police are exploring all angles of the case, but early evaluations hint at foul play.
Additionally, it has been noted that the victim had been previously flagged by authorities for various legal issues.
