The file related to the investigation of potential criminal responsibilities of the former Ministers of Infrastructure and Transport, covering the period from January 1, 2016, to February 28, 2023, has been sent to Parliament by appellate investigator Sotiris Bakaimis from Larissa in connection with the Tempi case.
The dossier was submitted to Parliament late Monday afternoon, accompanied by a document stating:
“We are presenting to you, in accordance with Article 86, paragraphs 1 and 2 of the Constitution and Law 3126/2003 regarding the criminal liability of ministers, a document received from the appellate investigator in the Tempi case, Sotiris Bakaimis, along with the entire investigative file in electronic form as compiled to date.”
In his document, the appellate investigator notes that the main investigation revealed elements pertinent to the criminal offenses outlined in Article 1, paragraph 1 of Law 3126/2003. These elements are being forwarded for the evaluation of possible criminal liability of the former Ministers of Infrastructure and Transport for the specified period.
This investigation pertains to the actions of former ministers Christos Spirtzis and Kostas Ach. Karamanlis.
