A serious accident took place yesterday in Tybaki, part of the Phaistos municipality in Heraklion, Crete, when a car carrying four passengers crashed into a tree.
According to creta24.gr, the incident occurred at dawn, as the vehicle, with four young occupants, veered off the road and collided with a tree, which was uprooted as a result.
All four young men sustained injuries, with two of them, aged 18 and 19, in serious condition and receiving treatment in the intensive care unit at Heraklion University Hospital.
The 18-year-old underwent surgery yesterday afternoon.
The other two, aged 19 and 22, suffered minor injuries and are currently being treated in the surgical and orthopedic clinic.
