Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has announced that the second round of negotiations between Russia and Ukraine will take place in Constantinople on June 2.
The Russian delegation, led by Medinsky, is prepared to present a memorandum addressing the Ukrainian crisis during the meetings in Constantinople on June 2, Lavrov stated.
The initial meeting between representatives from Moscow and Kiev in three years occurred on May 16 in Constantinople, where both sides agreed to a significant prisoner exchange—1,000 for 1,000—and discussed potential plans for a future ceasefire.
Ukraine has requested a meeting of state leaders to be part of the negotiations, to which Russia has responded positively.
