Russian negotiators have presented Ukraine with two ceasefire proposals, according to reports from Russian state media.
The RIA news agency indicated on Monday afternoon that the first proposal involves Ukraine executing a complete withdrawal of its forces from four regions that Moscow claims as its territory.
These regions are Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson, and Zaporizhzhya, which are under Russian control.
The second proposal entails a “package deal” that includes several conditions.
Additionally, TASS news agency stated that the complete withdrawal of Ukrainian armed forces from the Russian-controlled areas must occur within 30 days following the ceasefire.
Russia’s memorandum also calls for international recognition of Crimea, Donbass, and Novorossiya as part of Russia, according to TASS.
The Kremlin insists that Ukraine maintain a neutral stance and refrain from joining NATO.
