The total property value of real estate owned by Greeks reached a record 777.85 billion euros in 2025, marking an increase of 5.9 billion euros or 0.77% compared to 2024. This trend reflects the ongoing rise observed in recent years.
The total tax collected through the settlement of the ENFIA for 2025 was €2.3 billion. Of this total, €1.738 billion was contributed by approximately 6,165,000 individuals, while €565 million came from 71,000 legal entities.
As in previous years, Attica continues to dominate the real estate landscape. The total objective value of properties in the Attica Region reached 410.97 billion euros, accounting for over half of the national total. The portion of ENFIA attributed to these properties amounts to 1.218 billion euros, which is 53% of the overall assessment.
Next is Central Macedonia with a property value of 101.9 billion euros, followed by Crete at 42.1 billion euros. Conversely, Western Macedonia (10.2 billion euros), Northern Aegean (11.4 billion euros), and Epiros (17.8 billion euros) have the lowest aggregated values.
The regional distribution of property value remained mostly unchanged, though small increases were noted in nearly all areas. Central Greece was the exception, experiencing a decline of approximately €180 million in total property value. Central Macedonia saw the largest absolute increase, gaining 1.74 billion euros, while Western Greece recorded the highest percentage growth at 2.1% annually.
This year, the only tax relief measure available to property owners was the rebate on insured homes. A total of 359,434 taxpayers utilized this benefit, resulting in a combined relief of 21 million euros, with each beneficiary receiving an average of 59 euros.
