According to an update shared with parliamentary editors by Nikitas Kaklamanis, the parties appear to have reached an agreement on the new majority threshold for the House, set at 297 MPs.
“I don’t believe there will be any discussion of a scientific council. We are awaiting the Electoral Court’s decision to be communicated to us. On behalf of Parliament, we invoke Article 74, paragraph 2, as do most constitutional experts,” stated the President of the Parliament. He added that he has engaged in discussions with all parties, where it seems the prevailing opinion is to maintain a majority of 151 regarding the procedures linked to the number of seats rather than the number of MPs.
