The budget for the call for applications for funding under the action “Strengthening the establishment and operation of new tourist small and medium-sized enterprises” of the Competitiveness Programme NSRF 2021-2027 has been further increased, as announced by Deputy Minister of National Economy and Finance, Nikos Papathanasis.
The available budget has risen from 250 million euros to a total of 375 million euros, representing a 150% increase over the initial estimate.
This boost in funding reflects the exceptionally high interest in the application process. As a result, more beneficiaries will be included in this initiative, ultimately supporting a greater number of investment projects within one of Greece’s most vital and dynamic sectors: tourism.
It is noteworthy that a total of 6,669 applications have been submitted for this funding opportunity across the country.
