On May 30th, students at General Lyceums (GEL) are sitting for the Modern Greek Language and Literature exam, specifically the Essay portion, as part of the Panhellenic Examinations. This is a critical step for securing admission to Higher Education for the 2025-2026 academic year.
Examinees are tested on Modern Greek Language and Literature, a subject in the General Education curriculum.

Panhellenic Exams 2025: Exam Schedule for GEL Students
GEL candidates will continue their exams on Monday, June 2nd, with Ancient Greek (Humanities Orientation), Mathematics (Positive Sciences and Economics & Informatics Groups), and Biology (Health Sciences Group).
Students will sit for Mathematics (Algebra) on June 4th, along with Latin (Humanities Orientation), Chemistry (Positive Sciences and Health Sciences), and Informatics (Economics and Informatics Group).
The exams for nationally tested subjects will wrap up on Friday, June 6th, featuring History (Humanities Group), Physics (Positive Sciences and Health Sciences Groups), and Economics (Economics and Informatics Group).
Panhellenic Exams 2025 – Vocational Lyceum (EPL) Schedule
The Panhellenic Exams for Vocational Lyceum (EPL) students will commence on Saturday, May 31st, 2025, starting with Modern Greek. This will be followed by Mathematics (Algebra) on June 3rd. From June 5th to June 16th, students will take exams in their specialized subjects.
Additionally, exams for specialized subjects are scheduled from June 14th to June 25th, 2025. Medical Examinations and Practical Tests for candidates (both GEL and EPL) aiming for admission to the Departments of Physical Education and Sports Sciences (TEFAA) will occur from June 16th to June 27th.
