In the latest Opinion Poll featured on Action 24, New Democracy’s poll performance has risen by 0.4%, now standing at 30.4%. Over the past 17 days, the gap between them and the second party, Pleisi Eleftherias, has widened by 14.4 points, moving from 13.5% to 16%. Pleisi Eleftherias has seen a decline from 16.5% to 16% compared to the previous survey.
PASOK has also shown a slight rebound, increasing its estimated support from 13% to 13.5%. Following them are Hellenic Solution at 9.6% (down from 10.5%), KKE at 8.2% (down from 8.4%), SYRIZA at 5.8% (down from 6.1%), Niki at 3% (down from 3.2%), Voice of Logic at 2.9% (down from 3%), Mera25 at 2.4% (down from 2.6%), and New Left at 1.2% (down from 1.6%). The Kasselakis party saw a minor increase from 2.7% to 2.9%.
Public Opinion on Tempi Incident
23.9% of respondents express concern over recent developments, such as the “Karoni conclusion,” which has shifted their previous views. In contrast, 64.7% feel that no new information has emerged to alter their opinions.
– A significant 71.2% believe there is an ongoing effort to conceal responsibility regarding the Tempi incident, while 25.7% disagree. This shows an 8.9% decrease from the March survey, where 80.1% held the same view.
– On the other hand, 83.7% think the Opposition is attempting to politically exploit the Tempi accident, up from 80.7% in March, indicating a 3% increase. Only 12.8% disagree.
– In terms of concerns, 45% are more troubled by attempts to cover up the incident by the government, 20.3% by the Opposition’s political exploitation, and 31.5% express equal concern over both issues.
– 53.2% believe that the ongoing political discussions surrounding the Tempe affair hinder the pursuit of truth, while 41.5% feel otherwise.
– A strong 88.4% advocate for expediency in the trial process to ensure justice and uncover the truth, with only 7.3% opposing this view.
