EFA Group, along with its subsidiaries EFA VENTURES, SCYTALYS, UCANDRONE, and AETHER AERONAUTICS, showcased their innovations in Battle Management Systems, Command and Control Systems (C2), Interoperability, and Unmanned Aerial Systems at the DEFEA 2025 international defense equipment exhibition, held at the Athens Metropolitan Expo from May 6 to May 8, 2025. This participation underscores their dedication to innovation and the ongoing development of cutting-edge products and solutions tailored to contemporary operational requirements.
The EFA GROUP highlights its role as a “One Stop Shop,” having established a comprehensive ecosystem of integrated defense solutions sourced from a single provider. This includes a wide array of interoperable products, systems, and technologies, all backed by advanced technologies developed internally and a robust long-term support strategy. The Group meets various needs across all branches of the Armed Forces and Security Forces, with solutions customized to specific operational specifications.
At DEFEA 2025, SCYTALYS unveiled the new advanced Combat Management System MIMS ARMOR, designed for military vehicle installation, alongside the “Combat Cloud” tailored for modern network-centric operations. Additionally, SCYTALYS showcased enhancements to its C2 systems, emphasizing intelligent anti-aircraft and anti-ballistic protection mechanisms, which integrate sensors, command, and weapon systems, leveraging AI and machine learning technologies.
UCANDRONE, which has experienced substantial exports to European markets in recent years, introduced its innovative tactical UAS Blackbird. This fully autonomous aircraft is designed for Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance, and Targeting (ISRT), capable of flying in swarms, operating effectively in the most challenging conditions both day and night, and executing autonomous take-offs and landings on moving vehicles and vessels. Its lightweight design and rapid assembly capabilities make it particularly suitable for Special Operations forces.
AETHER AERONAUTICS presented advancements in its successful commercial aerial targets, the NMS-2 and PNS-1, now equipped with a turbojet engine and a two-stroke piston engine, respectively, meeting operational needs for both low and high-performance targets. In the past two years, AETHER AERONAUTICS has achieved significant export success to five countries.
Notably, EFA GROUP’s presence was complemented by a strategic investment partnership with Acromove Inc., a high-tech firm based in California. This collaboration aims to develop next-generation integrated telecommunications and high-tech IT solutions utilizing Private5G and EdgeCloud technologies, creating a substantial capability enhancement for modern operations that streamlines communication and critical information flow between military units.
