Officers from the Organized Crime Unit executed a raid at the apartment where a 39-year-old woman, who died early Saturday from an explosive device she had planted outside a bank in Thessaloniki, had been residing.
Initial evaluations by the bomb squad (TEEM) revealed that the apartment housed high-powered explosives, eight standard detonators, and a small amount of TNT, totaling approximately one kilogram of explosives.
Located in the bustling Ladadika district of Thessaloniki, the apartment had been rented on Wednesday by an individual currently being sought by authorities.
