Ο Υπουργός Εξωτερικών της Κίνας, Ουάνγκ Γι, καταδίκασε τους «αδικαιολόγητους» αμερικανικούς δασμούς που αφορούν τη διακίνηση φαιντανύλης προς τις ΗΠΑ, σε δηλώσεις του την Παρασκευή (7/3). Υπογράμμισε ότι το Πεκίνο θα «αντιδράσει σθεναρά» αν ο εμπορικός πόλεμος επιδεινωθεί, προειδοποιώντας για τις συνέπειες ενός «νόμου της ζούγκλας» στις διεθνείς σχέσεις.

«Η Κίνα, guided by humanitarian spirit, has repeatedly offered its assistance to the United States. It is ungrateful for the U.S. to respond with disrespect, especially by imposing unjust tariffs,» commented Wang Yi during a press conference at the National People’s Congress, China’s parliament.
«Choosing cooperation can lead to mutual benefits; however, if pressure continues, China will respond firmly,» the Chinese Foreign Minister added.
«There are approximately 190 countries in the world. Imagine if every country prioritized its own interests and believed in might… the world would slide into a jungle law,» Wang warned.
He also emphasized that the fentanyl crisis can only be resolved by the United States themselves.
