The United Nations announced today that no humanitarian aid has reached the Gaza Strip, just two days after Israel lifted an 11-month blockade and began permitting limited aid distributions through the Kerem Shalom border crossing.
UN spokesman Stefan Dujarik stated, “As of now, no supplies have left the Kerem Shalom loading area.” He explained that this is due to Israeli authorities restricting access to parts of Gaza deemed unsafe, where the risk of looting remains high due to extended scarcity.
