Reports from the Islamic Republic indicate that new Israeli attacks occurred on Friday afternoon in the Iranian cities of Shiraz and Tabriz. The Iranian news agency Fars specifically highlighted attacks near Tabriz’s airport, with state television stating, “A few minutes ago, new explosions were heard in East Azerbaijan province.”
According to the Tasnim news agency, an earlier wave of attacks targeted ten locations in the province, resulting in at least three fatalities. State television further reported that a senior advisor to Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei sustained injuries during the overnight Israeli assault. “Ali Samhani, an adviser to Supreme Leader… was injured in today’s attack by the Zionist regime,” the report noted.
Additionally, sources are reporting Israeli strikes on the Iranian Air Force base in Shiraz, while Iranian media also mention attacks on the nuclear facility located in Natanz.
