TIF-HELEXPO and the Oman Convention and Exhibition Center (OCEC) have established a memorandum of cooperation, furthering their commitment to international networking and outreach.
The agreement was signed by Dr. Kyriakos Pozrikidis, CEO of TIF-HELEXPO, and Said Salim Al Shanfari, CEO of OCEC, with TIF-HELEXPO President Tasos Tzikas and Consultant Michael Michael in attendance.
TIF-HELEXPO’s management briefed Al Shanfari on their ongoing renovation plans, which piqued his interest, leading him to invite TIF-HELEXPO executives to present the project in Oman.
Key Provisions of the Memorandum
This memorandum outlines a collaborative framework for exhibitions, trade promotion, business networking, and institutional cooperation, acknowledging the long-standing ties between Greece and Oman. Both entities are committed to fostering economic development, enhancing competitiveness through cooperation, and advancing international relations to capitalize on mutual opportunities.
Through this agreement, TIF-HELEXPO will have the capacity to organize and lead business and institutional missions to events held under OCEC’s auspices, while OCEC will have similar opportunities at TIF-HELEXPO exhibitions.
Both parties will support each other’s national exhibitors and official delegations participating in their respective exhibitions. They will also exchange knowledge, expertise, and experiences related to organizing exhibitions and other business events, as well as jointly host business meetings, B2B networking events, and thematic seminars to showcase market opportunities in both countries.
Furthermore, they will facilitate dialogues between government bodies, chambers of commerce, professional associations, and private sector representatives, while also exploring investment opportunities through various events and specialized programs.
