Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis stated in an interview on SKAI radio, “What is currently happening in Gaza is both unjustifiable and unacceptable,” emphasizing the urgent need for a ceasefire.
He added, “We have firmly expressed our support for an immediate ceasefire and for the swift restoration of humanitarian aid to Gaza. I must convey to you, Mr. Chiotis and Mr. Papadopoulos, that the recent actions in Gaza are completely unjustifiable. Israel must halt these operations and allow the United Nations and other humanitarian organizations to assist the suffering population, ensuring that humanitarian aid, food, and medical supplies can be delivered as soon as possible.
Mitsotakis addressed accusations of silence on the matter, stating, “We are not silent at all. I feel compelled to clarify this…” during his conversation on SKAI radio.
