He was greeted at the entrance by Health Minister Adonis Georgiadis and Deputy Health Minister Irini Agapidaki.
A meeting with the ministry’s leadership is set to take place, where they will discuss a plan for modernizing the National Health System (ESY). This initiative aims to enhance staffing, upgrade infrastructure, and implement digital transformations to improve healthcare services.
Key topics will include reforms in Primary Healthcare, adjustments to emergency duty schedules to minimize wait times in Emergency Departments (EDs), and the introduction of an electronic patient tracking system, often referred to as the “bracelet.” Additional issues such as afternoon surgeries will also be covered.
