According to Zoe Konstantopoulou, the findings attributed to Professor Dimitris Karonis are in stark contradiction with the experiments he performed. During a discussion in Thessaloniki regarding the conclusions from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), she emphasized that Karonis must provide clarifications on his work related to the pyrosphere following the Tempi train collision.
“I find it astonishing that the government believes people are unaware of the rampant manipulations, pressures, and unethical practices at play. Professor Karonis needs to offer substantial explanations, as the claims circulated today directly oppose his experimental results and contradict established science,” Konstantopoulou remarked.
“It alarms me that it took a scientist 14 months to deliver findings that should have been presented a year earlier. I’m concerned about the public pressure influencing the tampering of evidence. Those involved in such obstructions must realize that tampering itself is a serious crime,” she added.
Konstantopoulou reiterated her party’s position concerning the Tempi accident, expressing solidarity with the victims’ families. She stated, “I stand firmly with the families as they seek the truth against a system that opposes them. I am alongside citizens who demand justice, fully aware that achieving it requires great effort. I believe we will ultimately prevail in this fight for justice.”
