Jennifer Aniston is facing a serious legal situation following an incident in which a man crashed his vehicle into her front door in Los Angeles. According to an official statement from the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office, the suspect, Jimmy Wayne Carville from New Albany, Mississippi, has been charged with persistent harassment and vandalism against the actress.

Carville allegedly harassed the 56-year-old actress for the past two months, inundating her with unwanted social media messages, voicemails, and emails. The situation escalated on May 5th when he drove into her front gate, causing significant damage.
District Attorney Nathan Hochman remarked, “Ongoing and relentless harassment can easily lead to dangerous and violent behavior, putting victims at serious risk. My office is dedicated to thoroughly prosecuting those who stalk and intimidate others, ensuring accountability for their actions.”
Initially arrested for vandalism, Carville was formally charged on May 7th with felony harassment, vandalism, and making threats of serious bodily harm. TMZ reports that the Los Angeles police discovered a series of bizarre social media posts by Carville, which repeatedly referenced Aniston and included the phrase “bride of the” (the full context was cut off in the report).
According to police sources, Aniston was at home during the incident but was unharmed. Her private security team quickly intervened, detaining Carville until authorities arrived. This case has now been transferred to the Threat Management Unit of the Los Angeles Police Department, which has dealt with similar issues involving the actress in the past.
While Carville had no previous criminal record concerning Aniston prior to this incident, law enforcement is currently investigating his background and examining his social media activity. Many of his posts appear to reference the actress, though her representatives have yet to issue an official statement. If convicted, he faces a potential sentence of up to three years in state prison.
