Additionally, authorities in Qom province reported today that 22 individuals have been arrested on charges of “spying for Israel” during the ongoing conflict with Israel, as reported by Fars.
Following the initial Israeli airstrikes on June 13, the agency noted that “22 individuals were detained for their alleged connections to the Zionist regime’s intelligence services and for inciting public unrest,” citing the head of the police intelligence unit in that central Iranian province.
