An interview poll conducted for Political reveals that the Course of Freedom is now in fourth place, trailing behind Hellenic Solution, with inflation emerging as the top concern among citizens in Greece.
Specifically, in the projected election results, New Democracy leads with 30%, followed by PASOK at 14.1%, Hellenic Solution at 9.7%, and Course of Freedom at 8.9%. The KKE holds 8.1%, while SYRIZA is at 5%, the Democracy Movement at 4.3%, and NIKI at 4.1%.
When respondents were asked, “If elections were held next Sunday, which party would you vote for?”, 24.7% chose New Democracy, 12.1% opted for PASOK, 8.2% for Hellenic Solution, 7.3% for Course of Freedom, 7% for KKE, 4.1% for SYRIZA, 3.7% for the Democracy Movement, 3.6% for MP25, 3.3% for NIKI, and 3.3% for the Voice of Reason. Additionally, 1.7% selected Nea Aristera, 1.6% the Spartans, another 5% chose other parties, while 14.7% remain undecided.
Kyriakos Mitsotakis continues to be the preferred political leader among citizens, with 29.8% trust in him to govern the country. Following him are “none” at 26.4%, Nikos Androulakis at 9.8%, Kyriakos Velopoulos at 6.7%, Dimitris Koutsoumpas at 5.9%, Zoe Konstantopoulou at 5.4%, Socrates Famellos at 4.1%, Stefanos Kasselakis at 3.9%, Aphrodite Latinopoulou at 2.1%, Dimitris Natsios at 1.9%, Alexis Charitsis at 1.7%, Vassilis Stigas at 1.3%, and 1% indicating they do not know or provide no answer.
Moreover, citizens believe that the New Democracy government (23.4%) is the most capable of handling a significant crisis—be it national, health-related, or economic. PASOK was chosen by 11.6%, followed by Hellenic Solution at 10%, KKE at 5.4%, SYRIZA at 4.9%, and Course of Freedom at 3.7%.
Participants identified inflation (27.9%) and family finances (19.5%) as the most pressing issues influencing their voting choices. They also cited ideological and party affiliation (17.2%), the state of the healthcare system (16.6%), justice in the Tempi case (13.3%), crime and illegal immigration (11.4%), and the state of education (7.4%) as significant factors.
