According to a recent poll by Interview for Political newspaper, the New Democracy (ND) party leads with a significant margin over its nearest rival, PASOK, while Course of Freedom has dropped to fourth place.
The election projections indicate that New Democracy has a support rate of 28.3%, followed by PASOK at 14.2%. The rankings continue with Hellenic Solution at 10.5%, Course of Freedom at 9.6%, KKE at 8.3%, SYRIZA at 4.2%, Democracy Movement at 3.8%, MPA25 at 3.5%, Niki at 3%, Voice of Logic at 2.8%, and New Left at 2.2%.
In terms of which political leader respondents trust most for governance, Kyriakos Mitsotakis received 28% support, outpacing Nikos Androulakis, who garnered just 10%. Following them are Kyriakos Velopoulos with 9%, Zoe Konstantopoulou at 8.3%, Dimitris Koutsoumpas at 4.8%, Socrates Famellos at 3.5%, Stefanos Kasselakis at 3.1%, Afroditi Latinoopoulou at 2.6%, Dimitris Natsios at 1.7%, and Alexis Charitsis at 1.3%.
When asked about the top issue they would address if they were prime minister for a day, respondents prioritized the economy (34.1%), followed by demographic issues (13.3%). Other concerns included the health system, corruption, transparency in public administration, and the education system.
Lastly, the Interview poll gauged public sentiment towards Antonis Samaras and Alexis Tsipras, revealing that 80% of respondents would not support either candidate.
