Passengers can now obtain tickets exclusively through digital means, by phone, or directly from the conductors aboard the train.
The company has announced that the operation of these issuing stations will be suspended to promote digital and alternative ticketing methods.
The following stations will no longer issue tickets:
Andendros, Aegio, Alexandroupoli, Alexandria, Amyndeo, Veroia, Drama, Edessa, Kilkis, Komotini, Lamia, Litochoro, Naoussa, Nea Peramos, Orestiada, Rodopolis, Serres, Skydra, Stylida, Tithorea, and Florina.
Tickets can be purchased via:
- The website: www.hellenictrain.gr
- The Hellenic Train app (available on both the App Store and Google Play)
- By phone, by calling the Customer Service Center at 14511
- Onboard the train (this option is available only for passengers boarding at stations without a ticket office).
