Mevaco, a metal products and construction firm, is enjoying remarkable success under the leadership of CEO Spyros Delendas. The company has reached multi-year highs in both its stock market presence and financial performance.
Delendas’ strategic move into the photovoltaic sector has proven advantageous, establishing it as a significant asset for the company.
Mevaco’s “made in GR” photovoltaic panels are now exported worldwide, from the United Kingdom to Latin America, representing the company’s primary export product. The firm operates 14 production lines at its privately owned facility in Aspropyrgos, with a substantial portion of its revenue generated from PV construction.
The defense sector also contributes significantly to the company’s strategy. Recently, Delendas has secured key agreements with firms like Intracom Defence and the French Naval Group, which is responsible for the BELHARRA frigate contract.
Additionally, Mevaco is involved in the ambitious Ellinikon project, having secured the contract for the “Riviera Galleria” roof.
Delendas has led the company to achieve annual profits exceeding 5 million euros in 2024, demonstrating a consistent upward trend in profitability over recent years (3.1 million euros in 2022 and 2023, 1.9 million euros in 2021, and -0.5 million euros in 2020).
Furthermore, revenue has grown to 37 million euros in 2021, up from 32 million euros in 2020.
