This year’s event was hosted by Nancy Zabetoglou and Thanasis Anagnostopoulos, marking their debut in this role. Panos Deligiannis, the founder of The Food and Leisure Guide and the awards’ creator, addressed the audience, emphasizing the event’s importance.

The Sustainability Award, awarded in partnership with Blue Marble, went to the restaurant at Kir-Yianni Estate in Naousa, recognizing its leadership and unwavering commitment to sustainable practices.

Additionally, the Greek Culinary Ambassador Award was presented to Filippos Chronopoulos, the chef at Palais Royal in Paris and the only Greek chef abroad with two Michelin stars. This accolade reflects the international outreach of the FNL Awards, which now includes insights from five esteemed international evaluators, including notable journalists, influencers, and professionals from global institutions.

A Night of Tribute
The awards ceremony at the Athens Conservatory was characterized by a relaxed atmosphere and was live-streamed on FNL’s YouTube channel for the first time, allowing a wider audience of food enthusiasts to tune in. Attendees were greeted at the entrance by NBG Pay, which provided information about its services and exclusive offers for the awarded restaurants.
A traditional food event followed in the colonnade of the Athens Conservatory. Highlights included a Champagne bar by Moët & Chandon, cocktails featuring The Macallan and Campari, wines from Chateau d’Esclans, NOAM beer, and Taf coffee, served alongside the exquisite dishes prepared by participating chefs. Trofelia showcased its own Spanish Corner, while buffets were curated by award-winning establishments such as NYN ESTI, Patio, and Beefbar Athens. Dessert creations came from Alexandros Koufas and the Hotel Grande Bretagne. Noteworthy was the service of beer and wine in Riedel glasses, and a grand showcase featuring an impressive collection of wine coolers by Masterzen took place in the amphitheater.
