OPAP Forward TALKS, an initiative by OPAP, aims to expand its thematic sections and participants, enhancing discussions on the vital role of entrepreneurship in driving progress and development in Greece.
This platform fosters dialogue and an exchange of ideas between entrepreneurs and market leaders, focusing on Greek small and medium-sized enterprises.
The OPAP Forward program, developed in partnership with Endeavor Greece, plays a crucial role in this effort. It provides support to 81 small and medium-sized businesses across various dynamic sectors of the Greek economy, offering expertise and advisory assistance to help them grow, boost their turnover, and create new job opportunities.
As stated by OPAP President and CEO Jan Karas, “Companies must be adaptable to remain ahead of the curve. They need to evolve their strategies and deliver unique experiences to their customers.”
Highlighting the impressive outcomes achieved by the participants in the OPAP Forward program, OPAP Deputy CEO Odysseas Christoforou noted that OPAP Forward actively supports dynamic small and medium enterprises by equipping them with the tools required for growth, ultimately leading to quality job creation for talented individuals. Since its inception in 2016, 81 companies across seven sectors of the Greek economy have achieved significant success. Thanks to new strategies and innovative products and services, these businesses have collectively increased their turnover by €635 million, created over 3,500 direct jobs, and generated more than 25,000 indirect jobs. “These are not mere statistics; they represent the impact of OPAP Forward,” emphasized Christoforou.
