With Giannis Antetokounmpo as its representative, Stoiximan launched its 2024 corporate social responsibility initiative, the Empower Forward program, centered around three key principles: equality, participation, and inclusion.
This initiative transcends sports, representing a vital investment in society that provides every individual—regardless of gender, age, or background—with opportunities to grow, express themselves, and build self-confidence through the physical and mental strength fostered by sports.
The Empower Forward program began by promoting mental health and emphasizing the significance of mental resilience in both sports and daily life. Over 8,000 individuals across Greece have benefitted from the actions associated with this foundational pillar.
Women in Sports.
Empower Forward asserts that sport is for everyone, especially women. The program recently launched its second pillar: Women in Sports, aimed at boosting women’s representation in sports—not only as participants but as influential figures and role models.
The program will journey through 12 cities in Greece, creating inclusive spaces for women and girls of all ages to engage in experiences, challenges, and personal development. Where barriers once existed, new bridges of access, encouragement, and equal opportunities are now being constructed.
Key partners on this journey include the Hellenic Olympic Committee, local organizations, and sports clubs.
Kickoff in Ioannina!
On June 1, Ioannina marked the inaugural stop of Empower Forward – Women in Sports. The Limnopoula venue transformed into a hub of inspiration, action, and community engagement. Women and girls participated in a variety of sports activities, engaging actively rather than passively watching.
From wrestling and taekwondo to shooting, gymnastics, fencing, judo, weightlifting, and handball, each sport presented fresh challenges and a path to empowerment, both physically and mentally. The atmosphere was vibrant, the energy infectious, and participation was open to all—free of charge.
A Memorable Moment: Anna Korakaki in Ioannina
Anna Korakaki’s visit to Ioannina will be an unforgettable highlight.
The Greek Olympic champion Anna Korakaki graced the event, serving as a source of inspiration for all attendees. She shared her journey, emphasizing the effort, determination, and inner strength needed not just to win medals but to claim one’s place in the world.
Her presence symbolized more than just sports; it represented that every woman and girl deserves their rightful place and voice.
Support in Action: Donations to Local Clubs

In appreciation of the contributions from local clubs, Stoiximan is donating sports equipment to enhance the sustainability and quality of sports for children and athletes throughout Greece.
The Journey Continues…
