PPC has updated its rate sheets for May, now available on their website.
Sources within the company indicate that after a 25% decrease last month related to the calculation of green tariffs, the basic green household tariff for May, calculated using the new formula and PPC’s discount, is set at €0.136 per kWh. This rate aligns with normal levels and remains among the most competitive in the market.
In low-charge areas (formerly known as the “night” zone), the G1N green tariff is priced at €0.1097 per kWh. This allows PPC customers with dual-zone meters to enjoy rates that are 20% lower during off-peak hours.
For context, the April tariff was €0.11674 per kWh, significantly less than the March rate of €0.15479. Overall, May’s tariffs continue to be lower than those in the first quarter of the year, when rates surpassed 15 cents per kWh.
In addition to the green tariffs, PPC has launched the new PPC myHome EnterTwo blue tariff, catering to over 700,000 customers. This is the first fixed dual-zone residential tariff with guaranteed rates for two years, offering a fixed price of €0.095 per kWh during off-peak hours and €0.145 per kWh during standard hours, valid for 24 months. As a promotional incentive, PPC is also providing a total cashback of €100 on electricity bills, with a €50 discount on the first bill and another €50 off in the sixth month, contingent upon maintaining an active account with myPPC.
The yellow variable tariff, PPC myHome4all, has a set price of €0.127 per kWh for May.
“PPC prioritizes customers and their needs, offering straightforward, transparent pricing, comprehensive energy solutions, faster multichannel service, and a robust digital experience,” sources reaffirmed.
