The government will unveil a comprehensive platform on Tuesday that consolidates all housing programs, subsidies, facilities, and support measures, as announced by Minister of Social Cohesion and Family, Domna Michaelidou.
In an interview with ERTNews, the minister stated that 43 housing-related programs will now be accessible from a single website, which will also feature two key functionalities:
– Firstly, users can enter their personal information to see which programs they qualify for, and
– Secondly, it will compute the savings associated with using these programs.
When citizens input their details, they will discover their eligibility for various programs. This personalized information includes their age, residential region and municipality, marital status, and income. Based on this data, they will be informed of applicable programs and tax credits, while the platform will also calculate potential savings,” Michaelidou stated.
The Minister confirmed that the platform will be presented to the Prime Minister tomorrow, followed by a press conference.
