In the first quarter of 2025, the nationwide annual change in apartment prices reached 6.8%, according to data from the Bank of Greece.
When categorized by property age, the annual price change for new apartments was 8%, while for old apartments, it was 6%.
Regionally, apartment prices changed by 5.5% in Athens, 10% in Thessaloniki, 7.3% in other major cities, and 8% in other areas of the country.
According to preliminary data from the Bank of Greece, it is projected that in Q1 2025, apartment prices (in nominal terms) rose by an average of 6.8% compared to the same quarter in 2024. In 2024, apartment prices saw an average annual increase of 8.9% (revised), down from a 13.9% rise in 2023.
