According to the latest survey by ALCO, New Democracy (ND) has seen a new increase in support since early May, as reported by Alpha TV’s evening news. The ruling party now stands at 25% in vote intention based on valid votes, with Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis gaining five points since ALCO’s March poll.
Plefsi Eleftherias has slipped to third place, experiencing a loss of over 2 points, whereas PASOK has moved up to second place with a slight gain of 0.3 points and has also improved voter consolidation. PASOK increased by 1 point, reaching 14% in terms of voters considering it a viable alternative government, while Plefsi fell by 3 points to 6%.
SYRIZA experienced significant losses, now only achieving 28% voter consolidation, a drop of 9 points from the May poll. It remains in sixth place, while Kasselakis’s party saw a minor rise of 0.2 points in valid vote intention, nearing the parliamentary entry threshold. SYRIZA’s losses primarily affected Plefsi Eleftherias and the Democracy Movement. Parties like Niki, MeRA25, and Voice of Logic are also close to the parliamentary threshold. Notably, ALCO did not provide a final vote estimate.
Hellenic Solution lost half a point but stays in fourth place, while KKE (Communist Party) gained half a point.
Minister Popularity
The most favored ministers among all voters are:
- Nikos Dendias
- Kyriakos Pierrakakis
- Kostis Hatzidakis
- Adonis Georgiadis
Among ND voters, Georgiadis has moved to second place, with Hatzidakis falling to third.
Next in popularity among the wider public include:
- Niki Kerameus
- Vasilis Kikilias
- Takis Theodorikakos
- Michalis Chrysochoidis
Importantly, 55% of those surveyed believe that Prime Minister Mitsotakis should also be held accountable for the Tempi train tragedy, while 56% see the upcoming elections as an opportunity for a protest vote.
