AEK is actively pursuing three key transfer targets to enhance its roster, with plans to finalize these transfers soon.
In the striker position, Cyriel Dessers emerges as a prominent target for AEK. The Rangers striker is reportedly open to the transfer. However, securing this deal won’t be straightforward, as the 30-year-old Nigerian forward has been a standout player for the “Gers,” netting 51 goals over the past two seasons.
According to the Daily Record, Dessers has verbally agreed to terms with AEK, which would see him earn €1.8 million per year.
The report further indicates that AEK must now enter negotiations with Rangers, who are said to be seeking approximately €6 million for the player. So far, there has been no sign of AEK initiating discussions with the Scottish club, and it remains uncertain if negotiations will commence in the near future.
