However, as noted by Giannis Kallianos, temperatures will gradually begin to rise starting Tuesday, June 24, reaching up to 35-37°C in mainland Greece and 30-34°C on the islands.
From Wednesday: a warm spell driven by air masses from North Africa
Beginning Wednesday, June 25, warm air from North Africa will extend across much of the Mediterranean, including Greece. This new heatwave is projected to last for 3-4 days, according to the latest forecasts.
