A lively celebration took place at the “Georgios Karaiskakis” stadium following the conclusion of the match between Olympiacos and AEK in the 3rd round of the Stoiximan Super League 1 Playoffs.

The Piraeus side triumphed over AEK with a score of 1-0, officially securing their 48th league title in a landmark year as they approach their 100th anniversary.

Once the referee blew the final whistle and the players’ tensions eased, a true festival of celebration erupted. Olympiacos players embraced their homecoming, overflowing with joy, emotion, and exhilaration. The fans showered their heroes with adoration, singing choruses in unison.

This marks Olympiacos’s 48th league championship and their first title since the 2021–22 season, following victories by PAOK and AEK in the intervening time.

For coach Mendilibar, this victory marks his inaugural league title, while Olympiacos now sets its sights on completing the double with the Greek Cup final against OFI scheduled for May 17.
