Greeks trapped in Israel return via Egypt on C-130 aircraft

Greeks stranded in Israel due to recent conflicts with Iran are returning home through Egypt aboard a C-130 military transport aircraft.

With Israeli airspace closed for safety over recent days, our citizens, including several artists, were unable to exit the country.

Consequently, they traveled to Egypt, where a Hellenic Air Force transport aircraft, as part of a government initiative, will pick them up and is expected to arrive at Elefsina Airport.
