An 81-year-old French captain was found deceased on Sunday afternoon in the cabin of his sailboat, moored at a small port near the Corinth Canal in Isthmia.
Authorities from the Isthmia Port Authority discovered the man unconscious inside the cabin. He was taken to the General Hospital of Corinth, where he was pronounced dead.
The 2nd Port Department of Isthmia, part of the Corinth Port Authority, is conducting an initial investigation, and an autopsy has been requested.
