There has been a change of venue for Matteo Bocelli’s concert in Athens. It will continue as planned on June 13, but at the Pallas Theater instead of the previously announced “Melina Mercouri” Theater of the Rocks. All pre-purchased tickets will remain valid.
A sensitive and charismatic performer, the 27-year-old son of Andrea Bocelli captivates audiences with his powerful and emotionally rich performances. The program at the Pallas will feature a mix of various musical genres, selections from his own discography, as well as timeless classics that have influenced him.
In a recent online interview leading up to his performance in Greece, he expressed his enthusiasm for visiting Athens:
“I hope this time I’ll have the chance to explore and learn more about your beautiful country, Greece. There is so much to admire in your culture,” he shared.
Matteo Bocelli grew up in a musically rich environment, steeped in both opera and classical music, and he acknowledged the profound influence his father has had on him:
“My father has shared his wisdom with me. He is a role model, and I have great respect for him,” he reflected.
